D.I.A.L.O.G.U.E.

PROJECT BRIEF

TITLE: D.I.A.L.O.G.U.E. is an acronym for Discover Intercultural Abilities, Learning Opportunities, Grow a Union of Europeans.

OBJECTIVES: D.I.A.L.O.G.U.E. is a training project within Action 4.3 Training and Networking targeting participants from nongovernmental organisations active in the field of intercultural dialogue and/or media and communications, more specifically a Training Course on a dual theme “Management of Intercultural Projects”. There are three core competencie, corresponding to three areas of learning objectives:

- Project management
- Intercultural Dialogue
- Media and communications

The project is relevant to 2008’s priorities, (Year of Intercultural Dialogue) and program’s objective’s and priorities (Cultural Diversity).

BUDGET: 21 000 euro, financed by the E.C through Youth in Action programme. Currently on the reserve list.

LOCATION: The training will take place in Romania, in Valenii de Munte and will last for 8 days. We aim for 30 participants, with a balanced participation from each country.

DURATION: 9 months (2.2.09-9.9.09), Training course ETD: 11-20.05.2009

PARTNERS and TARGET GROUP: D.I.A.L.O.G.U.E. is an international project with partners and participants from Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Turkey and Romania.

PROJECT PRESENTATION

D.I.A.L.O.G.U.E. is a training project within Action 4.3 Training and Networking targeting participants from nongovernmental organisations active in the field of intercultural dialogue and/or media and communications, more specifically a Training Course on a dual theme “Management of Intercultural Projects”. There are 7 partner organisations (including C.A.D.D.R.U.). We would like to draw on all out partners organisations’ experience on the 3 key areas in order to exchange and share good practices, network and learn.

The training will take place in Romania, in the Ipotesti Memorial centre, a place rich in cultural heritage, and will last for 8 days. We aim for 30 participants, with a balanced participation from each country.
