DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
The project
INCOMMUNICADO is a follow-up of the project E.U. Comunic (National
Initiative, Action 1.2) and aims to prepare 24 youths from 8
countries (Macedonia, Turkey, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, Serbia,
Romania and Malta) to become TRAINERS in the area of intercultural
dialogue. The Training of Trainers is based on Non-Formal Education
tools and techniques, and intends to enhance the participants’
organisations capacity to develop Youth in Action projects.
This project
aims to also help the promotores to prepare new projects under the
Youth in Action Programme and other programmes, by ensuring know-how
for the trainings development and means to improve the quality of
non-formal education.
The training
course “Training the trainers” will take place in Romania at Sarata
Monteoru, starting from 16-22nd of November, 2009. During this time
the participants will have the occasion to acctualy live together
for one week and will learn how to become good trainers in the area
of intercultural dialogue. The process of learning is based on
experience and exchange. During the training course will be used
non-formal methods for helping the participants to develop neccesay
skills for becoming a trainer. Together through the activities
organized they will find the common points between the culture and
will understand the positive role of cultural diveristy. They will
be prepared to share the know-how with other youths interested.
These youths will act as intercultural trainers and will return to
their countries in order to become a resource for the entire Europe
